A Capcom foi indicada na categoria Estúdio do Ano na 36ª edição da premiação britânica Golden Joysticks Awards 2018. A cerimônia deste ano já está marcada e irá acontecer no dia 16 de novembro, em Londres, com apresentação do comediante Danny Wallace e transmissão global pelo canal oficial da entidade.
Com diversos títulos importantes que chegarão ao mercado, entre eles Resident Evil 2 Remake, Devil May Cry 5, Megaman 11 e constantes atualizações de Street Fighter 5 e Monster Hunter: World, a produtora está a todo vapor para manter seus produtos entre os mais comentados e aguardados do ano e tem grandes chances de, pela primeira vez, se tornar o Estúdio do Ano.
A premiação do “Joystick Dourado” é a cerimônia mais antiga do segmento de jogos eletrônicos com votação aberta ao público. Sua primeira edição foi em 1983. Para votar na Capcom, é só acessar o site GamesRadar+ – a votação segue até o dia 25 de outubro.
